I have just changed one bit highlighted in yellow. APPEAL FOR WITNESSES FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE ON BUS IN LIVERPOOL We are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance on a bus in
Liverpool yesterday, Tuesday 27 August. A male attempted to board the number 20 Stagecoach bus near
Iceland on Walton Road at around 5.35pm. He attempted to use a pre-paid travel
card but when it was refused a fight broke out which continued onto the
pavement. Three people on board the bus, including the bus driver, suffered
minor injuries during the disturbance. A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of three counts
of assault, affray and possession of an offensive weapon. An investigation is currently underway. Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “A number of people were on the bus, and in the area at the time of the
incident and witnessed the fight, with some people filming it on
their mobile phones. “We would ask those people to come forward and tell us what they
saw. “Mobile phone footage can also be uploaded directly to the
investigation team using the following link:
