We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Wirral on Tuesday, 10 December. A man in his 50s was struck by a red Nissan Juke crossing Pool Lane at the junction with Arrowe Park Road at around 5.50pm. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to his face, wrist and shoulder. Emergency Services attended and took the man to hospital for treatment. The driver of the Nissan stopped at the scene and is assisting Police with their enquiries. Constable Craig Williams, Matrix Roads Policing Unit, Merseyside Police, said: “We are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
